Tony Abbotts 15.000 Green police

750 million dollar plan to create 15000 green jobs. This does not include the equipment that these new jobs will need. Such as cars and buildings for the increased work force. And no doubt he has not included the tools these people will need to do their job. Working in the outdoors they will need power tools generators laptops just about anything you would take camping tents caravans. Not to mention the tax payer will be paying for these bludgers to turn up to duck shooting or just jumping all over you on your xmas camping trip going through your stuff looking for guns and making sure you are not taking undersized fish. Just what we need more GREEN POLICE.

Bay Area Boot Camp Introduces PowerVie Boot Camp
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 6, 2008
After spearheading the boot camp workout revolution in the Bay Area in 2004, AlaVie Fitness (formerly Bay Area Boot Camp) today announced the launch of its signature program under the PowerVie Boot Camp name.
A total body conditioning series that includes cutting edge fitness instruction, nutritional education, and team motivation, PowerVie Boot Camp is at the core of AlaVie’s range of premier wellness services.
“PowerVie is different from other boot camps that take a military style approach,” AlaVie co-founder Heather Glenn said, “We pride ourselves on our team-oriented conditioning style, and our coaches are dedicated to creating a supportive environment that challenges people to go beyond their expectations for themselves.”
“Boot camp works for me,” said Camille Darlington, who has been attending the Walnut Creek camp for over a year, “I’m a real estate appraiser, so my job is very lonely. Exercising with a group of women with the same motivations is a big plus. And I love being outside, being cold in the morning, and getting a sweat going. There’s always a new challenge, and it’s never routine.”
According to Glenn, AlaVie is constantly researching current fitness trends to keep the PowerVie Boot Camp dynamic, fresh, and fun for both new and veteran participants.
“Boot camp is amazing,” Sunnyvale Camper Audrey Dussault said, “It’s different every day, and when you think you’re going to do the same thing, they change it up.”
“The women that come here are really looking to change themselves,” Dussault continued, “The coaches are knowledgeable and really care that you succeed. You tell them where you want to go, and they’ll do everything they can to get you there. With amazing coaches, an excellent work out plan, and a built in support system, really, what more could you ask for? I really can’t say enough positive things about boot camp. It’s definitely changed my life, and I feel that I will always have the support right there to help me.”
PowerVie Boot Camp will continue help participants like Dussault reach their fitness goals.
“The difference,” said Glenn, “Is that PowerVie will connect people with the larger AlaVie Fitness community and give them access to a whole range of health and wellness options.”
About AlaVie Fitness
Founded in 2004 as Bay Area Boot Camp, AlaVie seeks to create a fitness community in which people have access to all the tools they need to live happier, healthier, and in balance. AlaVie’s holistic approach to fitness is designed to give people the energy and support to make intelligent decisions about their (and their families’) health.
Along with cutting edge PowerVie Boot Camp training, AlaVie’s growing network of wellness providers connects program participants with many of the best health and fitness resources in the community. From nutrition consulting and body therapy services to local races and sporting goods, AlaVie continues to expand its fitness community to help people sustain their commitment to their well-being.

Camp Bow Wow
Long Island City, NY (PRWEB) July 24, 2008
Tails began wagging on July 18, 2008, as the first Camp Bow Wow® in New York opened for business in Long Island City. Dogs and their two-legged guardians are invited to visit the premiere doggy day care and overnight boarding camp located at 4716 Austell Place, Long Island City, New York at the intersection of Skillman Avenue and Austell Place. Pups are invited to come in and experience an entirely new concept in doggy day and overnight care.
Camp Bow Wow® has a lot to offer to their furry friends. Its upscale environment enables pooches All Day Play, Snooze The Night Away® while receiving lots of love and attention! Camp Bow Wow® Long Island City features a state of the art facility that sets it apart from competing doggy boarding centers. The camp-themed décor creates the feel of a cozy mountain lodge, and the indoor/outdoor play areas are surrounded with premium wooden fencing.
Only at Camp Bow Wow are live Camper Cams® installed in every nook and cranny of the camp, so that owners can remotely watch their beloved pooches play all day. Certified Camp Counselors® are always present at camp, and Camp Bow Wow® offers the leading staff-to-dog ratio. The camp has a 10,000 sq. ft. facility complete with 6 spacious play yards. The play yards are equipped with doggy jungle gyms and pool splash parties during the hot summer days!
This doggy day care is just different. For one thing, there’s the all day play. Instead of spending most of the day in a cage, with minimal walks, dogs that visit Camp Bow Wow® enjoy most of their time (whether it’s for day camp or boarding) playing in one of six large indoor/outdoor play areas. “During the day campers can spend most of their time outdoors playing with their four-legged friends,” says owner Stephen Neagus. “At Camp Bow Wow® our day campers find themselves exhausted by the end of the day when their guardians come to pick them up. The guests who stay overnight are given a tasty campfire treat just before being tucked into their own private and spacious cabin.” The facility is completely climate-controlled to maintain maximum doggy comfort throughout the day and night, and all cabins come complete with a cozy fleece-lined cot.
Another unique quality of the camp is that Certified Camp Counselors® monitor the pooches all day and adhere to a strict camper-to-counselor ratio for dog safety purposes. All counselors are trained in dog behavior, safety, and health management, including CPR and First aid training. Camp Bow Wow® knows how dogs play and interact, so all sizes and types of pups are kept very yappy! As an additional safety measure, large and small doggies play in separate areas.
Stephen is ready to open the doggy doors for business and is very excited to be a part of the great NYC dog-loving community.
Stephen has owned and operated a successful dog walking/pet sitting business in the city the past 6 years. He wanted to expand his doggy horizons to include a place that all pups would be pulling their owners toward. Once Stephen left his corporate job on Wall Street, he could fully commit to what he enjoys the most, the pups! Thankfully he has achieved that with Camp Bow Wow®! In addition to upholding a strong commitment to the dogs, Stephen has made a commitment to improving his community. Stephen has volunteered with the Big Brother/Big Sister program for the past 8 years improving the lives of youth in the NYC community.
Camp Bow Wow® Long Island City will be hosting a VIP (Very Important Pooch) event on July 31st at 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM EST. This is the perfect opportunity for local businesses owners and invited guests to meet the staff, take a tour of the camp, and enjoy a little wine and cheese while networking and enjoying the new facility.
There are a few requirements to be a camper and it all starts with the free interview day. The interview is a meet-and-greet with dogs of similar size and temperament, and Stephen advises owners to leave their pooches for the full day. “Basically, it’s a free day of camp and we get to know our future guests on a first-name basis,” says Stephen. Before coming in for an interview, all campers must be spayed/neutered and up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella vaccines.
For more information:
Visit Camp Bow Wow® online at http://www.campbowwow.com/longislandcity, stop by for a personal tour, or call the Camp at 718.392.WOOF (9663).
About Camp Bow Wow®

For the campers’ protection, Camp Bow Wow® has a variety of security features including live Camper Cams® allowing dog owners to view their pets from remote locations throughout the day as well as a 24-hour security monitoring system. Camp Bow Wow® also has Certified Camp Counselors® to watch over the campers while they are at play. We look forward to continuing to expand the list of planners we can collaborate with to ensure a great experience and a fabulous wedding for their brides.”

APR Energy Logistics Coordinator and UNF Alumnus, Anthony Boyo participated in an Alumni Panel during the workshop with four other Jacksonville Business Professionals, discussing how to overcome the difficulties of “Transitioning into the Workplace” after college.

Estonian Festival of Song Empowers its People
(PRWEB) August 26, 2006
Even to this day the beautiful country of Estonia in Eastern Europe lifts its people through the Festival of Song. A power that will ultimately bring Peace to the world? Charles Ehin can only hope and pray that his message of ‘Aftermath’ is heard.
‘Aftermath’ is an autobiography. It is the story of Kalev Ehin’s life after the child was cast from his homeland with Soviet occupation in 1940. Forty years later, Charles was to hear these words from his sister Maimu, ‘You can’t imagine how Mother missed you until the day she died.’
In 1982, the author Charles Ehin returned to Estonia to be reunited with his remaining relatives to tell his story of being caught in the ‘Aftermath’ of war.
Kalev Ehin was five when the Soviet Occupation of Estonia ripped families apart and changed lives forever. With the invasion of Estonia came the bloodshed of WWII. Men were being forced into concentration camps; families driven apart or displaced in neighbouring countries, while starvation and heartbreak lifted anguished cries from Eastern European Nations.
There were only two options Kalev’s father acknowledged, to flee the country with his son, or to die. In 1944 Kalev and his father boarded a German freighter sailing out of the Gulf of Finland into the Baltic Sea.
Soviet Occupation through decades of oppression failed to silence the Festival of Song in Estonia. In the capital Tallinn, thirty thousand voices rose from the Shell Stadium to sing the Nation’s unofficial Anthem – “My Fatherland is My Love”. A Festival of Song that empowered the Estonian people then, and empowers its people now.
In German camps, father and son became known as DP’s – displaced persons. Moving from camp to camp, Kalev’s father took on any job he could find. It was in Ulm where they narrowly escape death when the city was bombed. Again they were on the run.
While at the German ‘Transmitter Camp’ Kalev’s father was offered the job as radio operator on the Dabaibe, a cargo ship docked in Kiel Harbor. Kalev took on the task of deckboy, peeling potatoes for wages.
After 40 years, Maimu tells her story of the Russification of Estonia and a family torn apart by war. ‘Aftermath’ is a fitting title for Charles Ehin’s autobiography. Published by Publish America, it is a true story, to learn many lessons from.
If the Estonian Festival of Song empowered its people then there is hope that one day united voices will return peace to the world and the ‘Aftermath’ from wars will be for recorded history alone.
