In an effort to create jobs for Alaskans, US Sen. Mark Begich spoke on the Senate floor in support of the Small Business Jobs Act. The legislation is designed to encourage investment in small business, provides tax breaks to small businesses and makes it easier to borrow money to expand a business and hire workers. Sen. Begich got his first business license at age 16 and has been a small business owner the majority of his adult life. Sen.
